Co-hosting on WGYL 93.7 FM The Breeze

Okay, so it's been since August that I co-hosted my first morning show (which lasted 3 hours), but I finally found the WAV link (listen to it at end).

I was excited but nervous all at the same time. I had to get up at 3am and travel 50 miles north to the radio station. I still sounded groggy and that made me nervous. The topics we were going to talk about I wasn't exactly prepared for. I mean, I sort of was by bringing my own in, but unfortunately, the day before they already brushed up on those topics, so I only had less than 5 minutes to be able to prepare. Those 5 minutes I couldn't even concentrate - talking to the staff, drinking as much water as possible preparing to speak more than I'm use to. The first hour or so, I was basically a puppet. Didn't say much unless I needed to and thought way too much about how I was saying things rather than just having fun with it. If I could, I wish I can go back. Of course, when it was almost time to go off the air, that's when I started to loosen up and didn't want to get off. After the morning show I had to return to my job and work another 12 hours! Tired I was after that.

Below is the link to hear my first introduction. It's only about 20 seconds long, but this is the only clip I could find. Tell me what you think! Oh, and don't laugh when you hear me fumble over the word 'cloudy'....you radio personalities know exactly what I'm talking about when the early morning hits you and your tongue sticks to the roof of your mouth, and water just didn't do the trick, ha ha!
